Penny Elias

B.Sc. Hons in Materials Engineering (University of Sussex, UK) Penny worked in Personnel & Training Management in the UK returning to Trinidad in 1983 to assume the post of Purchasing Manager for a large manufacturing company.

Her involvement with The Shelter for abused women and children (Port of Spain) in the 1990s led her to becoming a Founding Member of WAND (1998). In 2002 while also serving as a Director on the Board of Home she actively facilitated the merger between Home and WAND; at that time Home was a local charity partnering with Habitat for Humanity to help provide housing for the needy.

Determined and dedicated to efficient and effective execution of Projects, with a keen focus on purposeful management, value and Corporate Social Responsibility.

She also served as Secretary to her community Residents’ Association for a total of 20 years.
