Gloria Nelson

A training specialist in Human Resource Management, Gloria graduated with honours from the University of the West Indies (UWI) and later received the Masters of Business Administration Degree from the Institute of Business, UWI and in 2001 she was awarded the Certified Senior Professional Consultant Certificate by the Centre for Management Development (UWI Cave Hill, Barbados).

Professionally, Gloria has lectured at the Skinner College of Business Studies (Barbados) and the Trinidad and Tobago Hospitality Training Institute; served as a travelling executive with Caribbean International Investors Group and functioned on the management teams of the Norman Manley Law School (Jamaica) and the Hugh Wooding Law School (Trinidad and Tobago).

Gloria is a Certified Hospitality Educator, Certified Facilitator in Leadership Development in Education and qualified Total Quality Management Facilitator.

In 1991 forming Gloria Nelson and Associates as the Principal Consultant she continues to assist numerous companies across many sectors throughout the Caribbean train and develop their human resource.

Her voluntary social service stems from a commitment to the needy, directing her involvement in the education sector, church, community groups and founding the Maracas Valley Children’s Library in 1986; a free library for the children of the Maracas Valley and environs.
